On October 21st a case study about the veterinary use of L-Mesitran on a tortoise with bite wound injuries was published online in Vet-Magazin.com.

An approximately 5 year old female Hermann's tortoise was found seriously injured in a garden. It looked like a dog had played with the tortoise and had been chewing on her. At first the wound was treated with analgesia, antimicrobial agents and received in infusion with NaCl, glucose and vitamins.

Thereafter the daily L-Mesitran Soft treatment started.This treatment made sure that infections to the soft tissue and the carapace were prevented. The tortoise fully recovered from its bite injuries in only 6 weeks

El 21 de octubre fue publicado on-line en Vet-Magazin.com un estudio de caso acerca del uso veterinario de L-Mesitran en una tortuga con lesiones por mordeduras.

Una tortuga Hermann hembra de aproximadamente 5 años de edad, fue encontrada gravemente herida en un jardín. Parecía que un perro había jugado con la tortuga y la había mordido varias veces. Inicialmente la herida fue tratada con analgésicos, agentes antimicrobianos y recibió una infusión de NaCl, glucosa y vitaminas.

A partir de entonces, se inició un tratamiento diario con L-Mesitran Soft. Este tratamiento aseguró la prevención de infección de los tejidos blandos y del caparazón.La tortuga se recuperó completamente de las heridas por mordeduras en sólo 6 semanas.
